Every year, the safe arrival and departure of over 200 million passengers lies in the hands of NATS, the leading provider of air traffic control services to aircraft flying in UK airspace and over the eastern North Atlantic.
Crucial to passenger safety are the NATS engineers, who not only need to be competent in maintaining complex air traffic control systems, but also have the capability to work efficiently and quickly - often under significant pressure.
The Technical Training Services (TTS) Department, based at the Corporate and Technical Centre near Fareham, ensures they have the skills and expertise to meet these requirements.
