Employee Engagement

The Rules of Engagement white paper is endorsed by engagement guru David Macleod; "...offers useful insights to employers..."

You can read it here The Rules of Engagement or request a printed copy. The white paper incorporates the latest research into the drivers of engagement. The 2009 Macleod Report to the UK Government (Engaging for Success) referred to employer confusion about what the key drivers are. More than 75 ‘drivers’ have been suggested, however, analysis of multiple international research reports by occupational psychologists has identified six drivers as being of major importance and broadly universal.  At the same time, remarkable discoveries from neuroscience and genetics have upgraded the role of emotions in human decision-making.

These insights suggest that employee engagement can be significantly improved by addressing just six key drivers, employees’ emotional ‘hot spots’. However, doing so means a fundamental review of the traditional model for managing people in the workplace. We would be happy to discuss this new management paradigm with you.
