The MAP Leadership Programme continues to gather support from TTF clients.
With news in January that only 6% of UK employees feel happy at work and 40% feel under stress, sustaining the engagement and morale of employees remains high up the HR agenda. Our CHOICE engagement model continues to attract attention from many of our clients.
In October through December, we ran a series of pilot Manager-of-choice engagement skills courses and Engaging for Success workshops for our clients. Commenting on these events, Neil Anderson, Lead Consultant for the MAP Programme said:
"One of the key emerging issues is that Generation Y managers (born after 1980) are now becoming more numerous, and they are finding it difficult to know how to manage older people who see things from a different perspective. Previously the emphasis was on helping baby boomer and Gen X managers to engage better with Gen Y employees, but this is now reversing. The CHOICE engagement model appeals to people in all three generations."
Ron Mackrell, Director of the
TAP Partners Programme, commented:
"Virtually every one of our 170 or so TAP Partner organisations are expressing interest in MAP. Clearly, the message is getting though; sustaining employee engagement despite the current economic uncertainties is going to be vital. Managers play the pivotal role in that."
