Dumfries & Galloway College ensures students are Ready for Work
Dumfries & Galloway College is leading the way in helping its students towards employment, with the help of the Ready for Work programme from The Training Foundation.
The College’s approach to learning is a reflection of its rural locality and changing patterns of lifestyles. As a dynamic learning institution, it has embraced the digital revolution in its many forms and created flexible learning approaches to suit everyone. The college considers employability to be a key skill for all its learners, from those studying at access level to others undertaking the Scottish Higher National qualifications.
The Ready for Work programme is an on-line, self-study programme, developed and hosted by The Training Foundation. It is designed to help young people make a successful transition from education into employment, and provides them with a base level of knowledge on key workplace issues such as diversity, data protection and drugs
