Lombard Insurance Leadership Conference, Luxembourg
Lombard Insurance, a subsidiary of Friends Provident (part of the Resolution Group) is the leading European insurance provider of services to the high net-worth sector.
Impressed by the employee engagement white paper, The Rules of Engagement, Lombard commissioned Nick Mitchell (author) and Neil Anderson (Lead Consultant of the MAP Programme) to facilitate their 2-day Leadership Conference held on the border of Luxemburg and Germany in October.
Attended by all 104 Lombard Directors and Managers, the event focused on improving the Company's engagement metrics and specifically managers' awareness and skills to engage better with their people.
The event coincided with the retirement of Wendy Evans, Lombard's HR Director, after 19 years with the Company. Wendy commented "As this was my swansong so to speak, I really wanted this event to be the best Leadership Conference we have organised - and that it was. The feedback has been fantastic. The CHOICE engagement model will be an excellent tool and the mousemat that The Training Foundation developed for us with the six principles of CHOICE on it will be a constant reminder of this event for our managers."
