Learner support qualifications

There’s a vital area in learning that is too often given a low priority – the crucial role that effective learner support plays in achieving performance improvement and behavioural change in the workplace.

Research suggests that only some 20% of training content delivered in the classroom is actually retained – this can be increased to an amazing 80%+ if the learning is reinforced by workplace coaching and support. Today, a wide spectrum of people are supporting the learning process in most organisations, including super-users, coaches, assessors, line managers, learning centre support staff and others.

Whilst it’s well known that inter-personal, soft skills are of at least equal importance to technical skills for success in these roles, training in these vital skills is often overlooked.

TAP is an integrated learning system embracing everyone involved in training and developing others, including professional trainers, subject matter experts in a training role and those in learner support roles.
