Since 1998, The Training Foundation has been on a mission. It is a vital mission as it affects millions of individuals in thousands of organisations. The mission is to provide:

We believe that every employee has tremendous potential that can be drawn out, developed and harnessed productively. Management teams that see their people as valuable assets to be prized, nurtured and developed are acting in self-interest, since people are now the key differentiator of all successful, sustainable organisations.

Yet optimising people potential does not happen by chance. It takes leaders who recognise the importance of embedding a learning culture and who are seen to support this from the top down. It takes individual employees that are committed to their work and who want to develop themselves. Above all, it takes great skill from everyone involved; line managers, trainers, coaches and support staff.

In October 2005 The Training Foundation was uniquely recognised in the training world by a Queen’s Award for Enterprise: Innovation, presented by HRH The Princess Royal at our Coventry headquarters.
