Ready for Work is a free online learning programme, funded
entirely by The Training Foundation, for all young people in full-time education. It has been designed to help young people prepare for the world of employment and improve their employability as a result.
Sir Richard Branson, the CBI, the British Chambers of Commerce, Heads Teachers and Industry and learndirect, and is now in use at hundreds of schools.
It was developed from the Train for Work programme and illustrates well how our authoring tool, Acce-Lerator, can quickly empower you to develop re-usable online learning materials, adapted for different audiences.
Students achieving a pass mark of 80% on the programme qualify to apply for a Ready for Work certificate and a post-course handbook.
